I do like fried chicken allot. Would you know a good recipe for me.?

Southern Fried Chicken





2 to 3 lb. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up


1 c. all-purpose flour


2 tsp. salt


1/2 tsp. pepper


1/2 tsp. paprika


1/2 tsp. garlic powder


Vegetable oil





Wash chicken and pat dry. Mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat oil (1/4 inch deep) in large, heavy skillet. Coat chicken with flour mixture. Add chicken, skin side down and brown quickly on all sides. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 35 to 45 minutes, turning once. Remove from pan; drain on paper towels.


To make pan gravy: Pour off fat leaving 3 tablespoons in pan. Add 2 tablespoons flour; stir until flour browns. Stir in 1 1/2 cups water. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.I do like fried chicken allot. Would you know a good recipe for me.?
I use buttermilk. First dip the chicken in beaten eggs, then in flour, then into buttermilk and finish with a mixture of flour, crushed corn flakes, salt and pepper. If you like it spicy you can add a little bit of cayenne pepper (just a little!) It's simple and really good!I do like fried chicken allot. Would you know a good recipe for me.?
Mix two cups of flower, 2 tsp baking powder, 2 beaten eggs, 1 cup cold beer, a little salt and pepper (I also add a little cayenne pepper to spice it up)


Dip freshly rinsed chicken in flour and then dip in the mixture above and fry at 375.

Well i season my chicken( I prefer those little wingettes they cook faster) with Lawry's season salt, garlic,onion powder, black pepper then put some flour in a bag, place chicken in bag shake up take chicken out shake of flour (just a little) and place in frying pan O yeah before you do all this pre heat oil in frying pan or a deep fryer leave chicken in pan or deep fryer for about 5min-8min take place chicken on paper towel ( to soak up oil) and your done

Cajun Oven-Fried Chicken:





Panko, fresh crunchy Japenese breadcumbs, can be found at Asian markets. They produce the crispest oven-fried chicken, so it's worth the effort. You can try curry powder in place of the Cajun seasoning.





1/3 cup low-fat buttermilk


1 tablespoon salt-free Cajun seasoning (such as Spice Hunter)


1/2 teaspoon salt


1 cup panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)


2 chicken breast halves (about 1 pound), skinned


2 chicken drumsticks (about1/2 pound), skinned


2 chicken thighs (about 1/2 pound), skinned


Cooking spray





Preheat oven to 400掳.





Combine first 3 ingredients in a shallow dish. Place panko in a shallow dish. Dip chicken, one piece at a time, into buttermilk mixture; dredge in panko.





Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lightly coat chicken with cooking spray. Bake at 400掳 for 40 minutes or until done, turning after 20 minutes.





Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 breast half or 1 thigh and 1 drumstick)

In a zip lock bag combine 1-2 cups of flour, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp flour 1 tsp paprika, add chicken pieces one by one shake till fully coated





In a frying pan add at least 2 inches of oil, over medium high heat, add the largest pieces of chicken (breast thighs) cook about 15 minutes or until golden brown,flip, add the other pieces of chicken, flipping them till golden brown. Chicken is done when you cut open a breast, meat is white and juices are clear








Chicken gravy


Drain the oil, add 2 cups milk, salt and pepper to taste, bring to slow boil, stirring frequently, in 1/2 cup of water add 2 tablespoons cornstarch, add to mixture stir till bubbly

2 cups flour


1/2 tsp salt


1/2 tsp thyme


1/2 tsp basil


1/2 tsp oregano


1 tbsp celery salt


1 tbsp black pepper


1 tbsp dry mustard


4 tbsp paprika


2 tsp garlic salt


1 tsp ground ginger


3 tbsp MSG (Accent)





Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl.





Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs


Then turn them over in regular bread crumbs (commercial)


Finally plunge them in the flour-spices mixture (above)





Heat oven to 350 degrees


Place chicken in a tray and cover with foil (shiny side out)


Cook 40 minutes.


Remove the foil then cook for another 40 minutes


Baste lightly with oil 5 minutes before the end


Let stand 5 minutes and serve.
