BAKED honey-glazed chicken recipe?

does anyone know a tried and true baked honey-glazed chicken recipe? i'm helping a friend of mine with a big dinner party this week, and would like to do a simple dish like this one. i'm only 16, so i have no experience grilling, but much with baking and frying on the stove.





i found this online, but there are no comments or anything. it looks great to me, but i'd like to use one that's been tested before.

Shake 'N Bake庐 Honey Drummies


1/2 cup honey


1/4 cup water


1 pkg. (1-1/2 lb.) chicken drummettes


1 pkt. SHAKE 'N BAKE Crispy Chicken Nuggets Seasoned Coating Mix





MIX honey and water. Moisten chicken with honey water. Shake off excess.





SHAKE 3 or 4 pieces at a time with coating mix. Discard any remaining coating mix. Place in foil-lined 1x10x1-inch baking pan.





BAKE at 400掳F for 30 minutes or until cooked through. BAKED honey-glazed chicken recipe?
Once you dredge the chicken in flour it makes a thicker sauce that doesn't sound so good once combined with the soy sauce. That's just me but you can try it out before your friends party.





Here is a recipe I like that serves three or four people. Give this one a test alongside the other one and I am sure you will pick this one.





INGREDIENTS


1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces


1/4 cup butter, melted


1/2 cup honey


1/4 cup Dijon mustard


1 teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon curry powder








DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).


Place chicken pieces in a shallow baking pan, skin side up. Combine the melted butter or margarine, honey, mustard, salt and curry powder and pour the mixture over the chicken. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/4 hours (75 minutes), basting every 15 minutes with pan drippings, until the chicken is nicely browned and tender and the juices run clear.



THIS IS THE RECIPE THAT MY FAMILY USES.





It is AMAZING, my fiance LOVES it.





Baked Honey-Glazed Chicken::





2/3 cup soy sauce


2/3 cup sherry or apple juice


2/3 cup honey


1/2 cup water


1 small onion, chopped


2 garlic cloves, minced


1/4 teaspoon ground ginger


2 broiler/fryer chickens (3 to 4 pounds), cut up








In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first seven ingredients. Add chicken; seal and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Place chicken and marinade in two greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dishes. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until juices run clear. Drain marinade and serve with chicken.
