Does anyone have a recipe for Sweet-and-sour sauce for dipping chicken nuggets into?

I went to allrecipes.com to try and find a sauce that would work and none of them were what I was looking for. I make my own honey mustard sauce and wanted to try sweet and sour. If you have a recipe that you have tried and has good/ great taste and is thick and is great with chicken nuggets please send my way. We really enjoy this one with chicken.





1 cup apricot preserves


2 tablespoon brown sugar


1 teaspoon dry mustard


1/2 teaspoon ground ginger


2 tablespoons cider vinegar

Copycat McDonald's Sweet and Sour Sauce





Ingredients:


1 cup Apricot Preserves


3 tablespoons Heinz 57 Sauce


3 tablespoons Italian Dressing


3 tablespoons Soy Sauce








Directions:





Combine all; Refrigerate up to 2 weeks
combine white vinegar, ketchup, adn brown sugar in a sauce pan adn heat. You'll have to play with the ratios of each ingrediant until you find the flavor you like.
Tomato ketchup, pineapple juice, cornstarch and water to thicken.
