What is your favorite asian chicken recipe?

This a recipie I made years ago and my family made me make it at all the holidays and special occasions. :) it makes them happy what is your favorite asian style recipies?





Sesame Chicken





3 Whole Boneless Breasts





Marinade


4 TBS Soy Sauce


1 TBS Cooking Wine


Few drops od sesame Oil


1 Teaspoon Peanut Oil


1/4 TSP Baking Soda


1/4 TSP Baking Powder


2 TBS Flour


2 TBS cornstarch





Sauce


4 TBS Soy Sauce


3 TBS Sesame Oil


1 1/2 C Chicken Broth


3/4 C Vinegar


1 TBS Chili Paste


1 Clove Minced Garlic


1/4 C Cornstarch


1 C Sugar


4 Cups of Peanut oil (deepfry)


2 TBS Toasted Sesame Seeds (sprinkle on top)








Directions:








Marinade: Cut Chicken into 1-inch cubes. Mix the maranade ingridients and marinate the Chicken over night.





Sauce: Mix all stuff, pour into small pot and bring to a boil, stirring alot. Turn down low, keep warm while frying chicken.What is your favorite asian chicken recipe?
Grilled Chicken





1/4 cup soy sauce


4 teaspoons sesame oil


2 tablespoons honey


3 slices fresh ginger root


2 cloves garlic, crushed


4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves





In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the soy sauce, oil, honey, ginger root, and garlic. Heat in microwave on medium for 1 minute, then stir. Heat again for 30 seconds, watching closely to prevent boiling.


Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish. Pour soy sauce mixture over, and set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.


Preheat a grill for medium-high heat. Drain marinade from chicken into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Set aside for basting.


Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook chicken on the prepared grill 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until juices run clear. Baste frequently with remaining marinade. Chicken will turn a beautiful golden brown.

Baked Asian-Style Chicken


Ingredients.....


1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces


3 tablespoons chopped onion


2 tablespoons soy sauce


1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root


1 teaspoon minced garlic


2 tablespoons honey


1/4 cup chopped green onions





DIRECTIONS


To Marinate: Arrange chicken pieces in a 9x3 inch baking dish. In a small bowl combine the onion, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and honey; mix together and spoon mixture over chicken. Cover dish and refrigerate to marinate for 1 hour, turning pieces once.


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).


Bake chicken at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Turn pieces over and top with green onion, then continue baking for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is tender and cooked through and juices run clear. Serve immediately.





Asian Orange Chicken..


Ingredients..........


Sauce:


1 1/2 cups water


2 tablespoons orange juice


1/4 cup lemon juice


1/3 cup rice vinegar


2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce


1 tablespoon grated orange zest


1 cup packed brown sugar


1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root


1/2 teaspoon minced garlic


2 tablespoons chopped green onion


1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes


3 tablespoons cornstarch


2 tablespoons water





Chicken:


2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch pieces


1 cup all-purpose flour


1/4 teaspoon salt


1/4 teaspoon pepper


3 tablespoons olive oil





DIRECTIONS


Pour 1 1/2 cups water, orange juice, lemon juice, rice vinegar, and soy sauce into a saucepan and set over medium-high heat. Stir in the orange zest, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, chopped onion, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, and cool 10 to 15 minutes.


Place the chicken pieces into a resealable plastic bag. When contents of saucepan have cooled, pour 1 cup of sauce into bag. Reserve the remaining sauce. Seal the bag, and refrigerate at least 2 hours.


In another resealable plastic bag, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Add the marinated chicken pieces, seal the bag, and shake to coat.


Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place chicken into the skillet, and brown on both sides. Drain on a plate lined with paper towels, and cover with aluminum foil.


Wipe out the skillet, and add the sauce. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Mix together the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water; stir into the sauce. Reduce heat to medium low, add the chicken pieces, and simmer, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
